Consumers should know that appearance of calcium is like soft grey alkaline earth metal. It is the fifth element by mass present in the earth’s crust. Consumers shoudl know that the calcium is known by its symbol Ca, carrying the atomic number 20. Calcium plays an important role in living organism especially in cell physiology. Calcium is considered an important element having usage in regular life helps in mineralization of bones and shells. Calcium shows its prescence in igneous and metamorphic rocks especially in silicate minerals, amphiboles , garnets and others.
